  • User information – When you use the Services, we automatically receive and record information from your mobile device and, if applicable browser. Such information may include your IP address, cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and unique device ID. Most of the information we collect during Your use of our Mobile Application, such as your device and hardware IDs and device type, your carrier, your carrier user ID, the content of your request, and basic usage stats about your device and general use of our Services does not by itself identify you to Us, though it may be unique or consist of or contain information that you consider personal. Specifically we collect, retain and use information collected, retained and shared through Facebook Platform, Twitter and YouTube, according to the applicable terms and conditions of their privacy policies.

  • User Id – Using the Services does not require signing up, however, in order to use certain features of the Service (such as for example sharing your preferences) you may be required to sign up. We use third party authentication during the sign in process, such as Facebook Platform, and therefore receive your user ID and such other information as Facebook shares with us. For the information we receive from Facebook please visit Facebook website and review its privacy policy.

  • Use history and preferences – We save your query terms as well as the experience/category selected, these may associated with the unique user ID of your mobile device.  In addition if you choose to sign in to the Services using third party authentication we may associate your Facebook user ID, for example, with such query history. We also save your preferences as recorded through your use of the Services and use them for personalization features.

  • Cookies – When you use our Services, we may send one or more cookies. We use cookies to improve the quality of our Service by storing user preferences and tracking user information. Certain of our products and services allow you to download and/or personalize the content you receive from us. For these products and services, we will record information about your preferences, along with any information you provide yourself

How We Use Your Personal Information

The personal information you provide to us will be used for allowing you to use the Services and allowing us to improve upon them and your experience in Using, allowing you to interact with your counterparts to the Services and to upload and receive user generated content and such other content available through the Services and such other services available to you through the Services.

Except as explicitly set forth in this Privacy Policy, We will not share, sell, auction off or give away your personally identifiable information to any third-party, without first obtaining your prior consent.

How We Share Your Personal Information

We only share personal information with other companies or individuals in the following limited circumstances:

  • We may share with third parties the location of your device in order to improve and personalize your user experience of the Services.

  • We may share with third parties’ Unique Device ID. While such information does not by itself identify you to Us, it may be unique or consist of or contain information that you consider personal, however such information does not identify you individually.

We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Changes to the Personal Information and Request to remove information

While your use of the Services does not require sign-up, some features do require you to log in using third party log-in authentication. Please consult the applicable third party services, such as Facebook’s, Twitter’s and YouTube’s privacy policy in order to determine how to remove or change your personal information.

If you decide to terminate your account with us, you may do so by contacting us at support@vod.io.

Please note that such deletion may not be immediate and that some of the information we collected and saved may remain on our servers for our internal use.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may occasionally revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Site and Application and other practices; therefore, you should review our Privacy Policy prior to each use of the Services, particularly each time before you submit or update your Identifiable Information, so you could be informed of any changes in our privacy practices. At all times, the most current version of our privacy policy will supersede any other versions of our privacy policy. If the policies described in our Privacy Policy change in any material respect, we may also notify you by posting the revised policy on our home page, by email, or by other means that we may choose and as required by applicable law.
